After 9 years as chairman of St Helens Hockey club Alan Travis has decided the time has come for him to step down from the role.

Alan was appointed the clubs inaugural Chair in 2015, his knowledge and guidance helped ensure the club successfully navigated it's first few years. He leaves his role having overseen the introduction of a second mens team, a thriving ladies section and more recently the introduction of a new junior section. There have been league and cup wins along the way but more importantly the club has established foundations that mean he's now able step aside.

The club wishes to thank Alan for his work over the last 9 years and will make a further announcement in due course regarding the vacant position.
